La trace invisible des gens
AN EXHIBITION BY LENA GUDD
DOISNEAU PHOTOGRAPHY MUSEUM GENTILLY
OCTOBER 2015 – JANUARY 2016
At the invitation of curator Michaël Houlette, Lena Gudd’s solo-exhibition La trace invisible des gens, the invisible trace of people, takes place at the Maison de la Photographie Robert Doisneau in Gentilly from October 2015 until January 2016. Gudd’s black and white middle formats take the viewer on a poetic journey into a northern world of subtle coincidences that continues to unfold in the exhibition catalogue published at this occasion. Featuring several of Gudd’s long-term projects, the installation presents intimate portraits belonging to the Wild und Frei series on the traces of an inner wild woman, as well as a selection of works on the Subarctic mining-town Fermont, engaging with the place’s inner and outer landscapes.
