Milieu as matrix, a journey

With Þorvarður Árnason in Milieu as matrix, a journey

While Pons Braley investigates the milieu as matrix by notably building upon his aesthetic and academic study of Northern vegetal covers, Milieu as matrix, a journey dives into this very research through sound pieces and publications series, drawing on audio and video fragments gathered from its landscape. Exploring research as a continuous object, Antonin Pons Braley questions its cinematographic dimension and in collaboration with the artist Lola Maria Muller composes its soundtrack. Echoing Glenn Gould’s radiophonic collection, Milieu as matrix, a journey stands as a sensitive archive in the quest for inner Norths.
